Pygmies are among the most disadvantaged peoples in the world. They are considered less than human and often enslaved by other tribes. In the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo conflict ravaged the region of their traditional forest homes. Now destitute and begging to survive, and vulnerable to every form of exploitation and abuse.
Since 2010, local Congolese and an Australian volunteer have secured land and set up their village in a relatively safe place. This project needs to provide nutritious meals, medical care and education for their 140 Pygmy children aged 3-5 years. Give your best gift for their better life; thank you.
